Joy is a Principal Economist at magic numbers, with 8 years’ experience in using market mix modelling (MMM) to help brands make more effective business decisions.
MMM (also known at econometrics) uses statistical modelling and thousands of data observations to quantify the drivers of business KPIs, including factors such as price, distribution, seasonality, competitors and marketing. Results provide clients with the insight needed for cost-efficient budget setting, accurate forecasts and an understanding of the strategic changes needed to maximise growth.
Joy is a Physics graduate, and loves that her role allows her to use maths to solve real world problems every day.
