Summit Delegates Donated £15,280 to Framework

Delegates at Team Hallam’s landmark Nottingham Digital Summit have raised more than £15,000 for Hallam’s charity of the year, Framework. The donations will be used to support local homeless people.
Framework Chief Executive Andrew Redfern said: “It is great to be working in partnership with Hallam who have already provided excellent specialist support in kind.
“This is an extraordinary sum of money which will be put to very good use. We are deeply indebted to Susan and her team for this most generous initiative, and are most grateful to all the delegates for their generosity.
The Nottingham Digital Summit was organised by Hallam, the award-winning Nottingham-based digital marketing agency. This highly successful event was the first of its kind in the East Midlands and attracted a wide range of digital marketing practitioners from across the region and further afield.
Held at The Nottingham Playhouse in late June, the event attracted more than 600 delegates. In lieu of conference fees, Hallam founder and CEO Susan Hallam asked attendees to make a donation to support local homeless people. An astonishing £15,280 was raised.
“Homelessness is a problem that no one agency can solve alone; it is truly a community issue that demands a community response. It is heart-warming that that Hallam are leading the way on this issue in the digital community and championing the cause of homeless people.”
Susan Hallam MBE, CEO of Hallam, who hosted the event, added:
“It was a privilege to host the first Nottingham Digital Summit and we are very proud to have raised over £15,000 for such a worthy cause as Framework.
“Our mission is to make Nottingham a leading digital city for digital marketers and leverage the huge pool of digital expertise right on our door step and I think we did just that.
“I would like to thank all the inspirational speakers who took part and all the delegates that attended and made the day what it was. We aim to be back and much bigger next year.”
The event brought together leading figures in the digital industry for a series of interactive talks, personalised clinics and networking opportunities throughout the day. Speakers included local senior representatives from Speedo and Capital one as well as national heavyweights from Microsoft and Google and many more.
